[just water]

2003
13 min

production: Åsa Maria Bengtsson with support from Konstnärsnämnden Sweden
camera/script/editing: Åsa Maria Bengtsson

The video takes us on a poetic voyage around the world, flying, going by train, car, boat and so on, making stops in different cities. A spinning world. Now and then it stops and in comes an animal, mostly cows, moving etremely slowly backwards, accompanied by the water-sound and a man snoring.

"Words waiting at my toungue / then tumbeling out, one after...after the other, in and out and out and in / sometimes they taste so good that I swallow them...

cast: Per Alvsten, Åsa Maria Bengtsson, Dan Bratt, Cecilia Cedergren, Petra Gipp, Lo Gorton, Lars Ekström, Bo Jonsson, Pelle Ossler, Magnhild Owman

An absurd soap where the destinies of ten people are entwined in each other. It all takes place in a hotel room and the story is told by the room - the observer. The video deals with the big issues of life - the thin line between sanity and insanity, laughter and cry, truth and lie. It consists of reminiscenses from movies, true life and pure fabricated lies
